So I'm up for a promotion

A year and three months at my old store with a store manager that was more concerned in hiring and promoting white people than he was hiring and
promoting GOOD people. And I never got my dues. I was widely seen as one of the best in that store and all I was seen as was a union member.
2 weeks at my new store, I was asked if I was interested. My references were sparkling and they already saw me as being head and shoulders above any
of the other baristas and better than most supervisors. I don't know if my schedule will allow a promotion at this time, though I may take it
anyway. Personally, I'm just glad to be finally seen for my work ethic and not an affiliation. Mood: Back on Top!
